You can improve your results by diluting your sample! For those samples with more salt content simply make a mixture with 10% sample and 90%water (for example) = 100%. Mix your solution and then take your reading. Since the sample only accounts for 10% of the solution the operator can then take a reading and calculate the result as a % or decimal point of the reading.
