Wine Industry Experience

Working with wineries and our partners we have identified unique tests that are used by wine producers to improve Quality Control and overall quality of the finished product.  Although some larger wineries may use more automation, wineries large and small, follow the same practices to produce their finished product.  Our general knowledge of titration has helped us identify and improve the unique titration setup wineries prefer for measuring initial pH, titratable acidity, free and total SO2. Additionally we work with other specific wine test applications including tartaric stability and liquid density.

  • 5 ways we use liquid density information - Density is expressed as a ratio of mass to a given volume mathematically as Density = Mass / Volume. For our industrialpurposes and earth’s known gravitational pull we will define Mass as weight.
